Adorned in disguises of friend, lover, or teacher
Notice quiet girl timidly watching wide-eyed
Know they danger lurks where silence dwells
Soft smiles coaxed me from fear?s dark crypt
Guardians so patient as I took those first steps
Into the realm of self-knowledge, eventual peace
Voice raised in song fills the sky with stars
Inspiring others with its message of hope
Now I don the guardians cloak and go forth
Giving thanks by nurturing my aura?s promise

Thanksgiving is the American version of harvest festivals around the world. It's a time to appreciate the bounty of life: to savor good food and good company and express thanks for the support around us and love that sustains us.


Happy Thanksgiving my friends....... Each one of you makes this place more special....and makes my life more fun. For that, I am truly thankful.

Thank you for listening to me bitch, moan, laff, cry, wonder, think out loud, and just babble. I love this place. I'd be here babbling without all of you too....I love it that much. But, with you guys here to bounce around thoughts, it makes it even more special........

Ahhhh..that was a wonderful post..made me smile!

Our day was great..family..food...just sitting and talking to the older folks who are in my family..naturally they drag out the baby pics for my new hubby to enjoy.. [img]redface.gif[/img] ..I think he enjoyed his 1st Thanksgiving..i know he was suprised at the varity of food everyone made..hehe...what a great day..now tommorrow its lunch out with my boss and his entire family..then we are off to do some christmas shopping.. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] ..amy i called you on your cell..left you a message..since i lost my cell phone all i had written down was your cell..
